I’m a firm believer in reading the writings of those who’ve gone before us and were considered giants or heroes of the faith. This would include such people as C.S. Lewis, G.K. Chesterton, John Wesley, Thomas Aquinas, and more. These are men who’ve wrestled with their faith and the way it impacts their world around them. I think from in our lifetime or soon after we’ll see the writings of John Piper fall into this category.
