The fictional novel Eden written by Andy Merritt had me sitting on the edge of my seat within minutes of beginning the book.
The story line opens up with a group of scientists embarking on an expedition to uncover a mammoth in the frozen tundras of Siberia. During the course of their expedition their discovery extends beyond the mammoth to a secret that’s been hidden since soon after the creation of the world.
If you enjoyed the Left Behind series written by Timothy LaHaye then I’m sure you would enjoy this novel by Andy, who is a Wesleyan pastor in Jackson, Michigan. Click on Eden to join the scientist in their life-changing discovery!

While reading Eden, I found myself encouraged to dig into my Bible to check the facts. Even though this is a fiction novel, it is fun to remember that there is an Eden somewhere, and that God made it!! I'm not usually a “reader”, but I was barely able to put the book down! Great job Andy!

I attend Rivertree in Jackson, MI, the same church that Andy runs. When he sent an e-letter about his upcoming book, I went to the website and checked it out. Now, I'm not one to go and read Christian books, sometimes I think they are too stuffy and pushy. But literally within the first two pages of the online sneak peek I was hooked to this book. I got the book about two weeks later and managed to read it in a weekend. Fabulous chemistry between characters while also giving a sense of depth to the overall storyline. I can't wait to read what he writes next!
