Are you looking to memorize scripture during the course of your day but find that you’re easily distracted from the various tasks you on your list? If you’re like me you may find yourself sitting in front of a computer screen for 80% of your day or more. Too bad there isn’t an easy to use tool to aid in Scripture memorization throughout the day. This is where MemorizeNow.com comes in handy.
Brad Haugaard created MemorizeNow.com because
“as a Christian, I have periodically memorized Bible verses, and the various memory tools out there seem to be designed mostly to help people get the material they memorize from their short-term memory into their long-term memory. That’s very good, but I wanted a tool that would help get the information into my short-term memory, which is, after all, the first step, so I made this tool partly for that reason, partly to learn Javascript, partly to help other people, and if I make a few dollars out of it, that’s great, too.”
MemorizeNow.com is an easy to use site. Simply enter in the verse or verses you want to memorize in the text box. Add a name in the item name field and
click on add. You’ll notice that you’re desired verse(s) are listed on the right hand side of the screen.
When you click on one of the items on the right you are shown your full verse where you previously typed it in. If you move through the various arrows above your verse, portions of the verse are left out progressively more difficult variations. Follow the link below to try it out.
What method(s) do you use to memorize Scripture? Leave a comment how you memorize Scripture below in the comment section. I’d love to hear them.
